As Tony says,been there and you've caught it. Well painted, but although this is an old bridge (ponte vecchio) this is the Rialto bridge, as mentioned by Shakespeare "What news on the Rialto" Merchant of Venice. The Ponte Vecchio is in Florence - very similar with shops all across it.<br />You have really got the green of the canal water well and thank you for leaving out the hoards of tourists.<br />
