@suetoftartist.co.uk A favourite spot on one of my local walks. On this occasion I was drawn to the streaks of golden light shining on the foliage and the water. I thought it might stop me getting too bogged down with detail if I simplified my photo before I began to paint so I cropped the sky and the top of the old bridge and cut off the bottom of the stream too.
