I used a knife for most of it Crispian, for those odd corners that didn't quite cut through I used a tiny pair of scissors. Thank you for commenting.

It measures 19 x 16 cms Elizabeth, I would like to get smaller than this eventually.

A practice piece of paper cutting. The design has the initials of my husband, son and grandson. I also include dolphins, cats, rabbits fungi, flowers, trees, birds and butterflies. It is still not as fine as I want to get but I find the work very therapeutic.
