Ooh - that's lovely - like a ballet ! Thankyou also for your comment Sue. Love this !

agreed, lovely acrylic work on this Cherry Blossom and on the glass vase, super colours

I usual paint portraits so this was a lovely foray into the world of still life - I'm glad now that the cherry branch broke and left me so much blossom to inspire me. Off to the grocer soon for next still life project items.

A beautiful still life; it sort of blends traditional (especially the dark background) with modern (the deceptively simple style). I look forward to seeing the fruits of your visit to the greengrocer. Palette knives are enormous fun, but I have found that you have to be quick if you use them with acrylic.

Super painting.

Very nice Sue, I like how they cascade out of the vase :)

It was a mad collection of branches! Have enjoyed them in the house. Sadly, they're over now. Will have to enjoy the blossom on the tree. Magnificent - better late than never.

Wonderfully fresh painting . just love it!

Absolutely beautiful; such a lovely balance between detail in te buds and free expression in the flowers. The reflections in the glass are pretty good too LOL

This is wonderful. I like the contrast of reality and looseness. The colours are great. Wow.

This is what blossom is all about. Gorgeous.

Loved doing this picture - So much blossom. I had a go with a palette knife to apply the colour for the flowers - what a wonderful fun technique - wish I'd tried it earlier!
