Great tree forms framing a subtle countryside view.

Sounds a bit like a psychology test-glass half full or half empty! I’m pleased to say my answer is subtle. I love your composition and gentle colours: your greens are lovely and despite the grey day there’s a feeling of lightness to this.

Definitely subtle, that's definitely England in winter and well portrayed.

It's a beautiful painting, I love your washes especially that low cloud you can see it coming in, really well painted 😀

Might be a dull season but certainly atmospheric and the best time to paint the landscape. I don't see it as miserable, it's more 'waiting for the next life cycle'. So, promising.
