An interesting piece. You wonder whether the ghost like images are past descendants looking down on this child. I wonder if it depends on what every individual reads into it - or am I being too philosophical?

The little boy Marjorie is my father in law so it’s probably from the 40s or early 50s

Arresting and open to so much interpretation. I remember having to stand still for photos at that age (during the 50,s).
