Done on the spot and it shows - you may not paint your very best pictures this way, but that sense of immediacy more than compensates for any final polish. This has the feel of the real.

Cheers Robert, I think I prefer working on the spot, the painting always seems to log the moment for good in the mind. It never ceases to amaze me at the power of recall one has of the whole event. All the best, Steve.
