Nice gallery, Steve.......most impressive. Love your use of greens in this one and along with 'Atlantic 6' this is my favourite. Your abstraction of the scene is very well done. Some of your work reminds me of another Cornish artist, Paul Wadsworth whose work I also admire.

This really caught my eye when I was trawling through the gallery today - again, you're using oil paint and showing just what it can do: no other medium that I know of responds so well to this sort of treatment, ie big, juicy strokes of the brush, intense colour placed just where you want it and then left to speak for itself. This is a long way from my own way of painting, but - is this odd, I dunno! - is just the sort of painting I most like to see.
