This is from a photograph I took on last Friday's walk with the East Staffs Ramblers. We were walking through a wood. The strong facing sun was creating impressive highlights on parts of the trees and the ramblers themselves. Coupled with the contrasting effect of the shadows, I had to try painting the impression that the light was creating.
