Beautiful gallery. I especially like this one and the "Green and pleasant land". Trees are also one of my favourite subjects. Never tried oil pastels, so I think I will give it a go.

Lovely detail in the bark of the tree, in fact, a lovely painting altogether. Have ordered some oil pastels and eagerly awaiting their arrival !!

Still experimenting with Oil pastels and this is the latest piece, completed in a few hours which is what i love about oil pastels they are just so immediate like soft pastels but they don't blow away or fall off the paper..... i'm a disaster with chalky pastels.
