Steve, keep up the car painting, your proportions are good, and the cars realistic. I'm a bit of a fan of some motor racing art, and you would learn a lot by studying the paintings of Nicholas Watts, and going back a generation, the paintings of Michael Turner. Both paint in Gouache, but I'm sure you can get similar results with acrylics. Look at how they introduce movement with lost and found edges...make studies of whatever ones take your fancy, and your already good work will get better...hope this helps, otherwise ignore me!

Thanks for the encouragement. Happy for the constructive comments as I do find there is something missing in my paintings re movement. I have a Michael turner print and a couple of his books and it was from those that I started getting interested in painting cars. I will do some research re lost and found edges which was not something I was previously aware of.

Porsches. One of my fantasy Porsche drives I painted. An ultimate dream - going around the Monaco race track with others from the local Porsche Club! Acrylic on Board.
