I thought I'd attempt a 'looser' style with this painting. I used a cadmium orange base coat, then roughly mixed each colour and stuck to larger brushes to avoid getting bogged down in detail. Acrylic on canvas, 31 X 25cm.

I first started painting in March 2017 after a starter box of acrylic paints had sat on my shelf for fifteen years. After sorting out the tubes that had dried up and buying a better selection of brushes, I finally jumped into this wonderful hobby and I'm thoroughly enjoying it.
