Hokusai said that if he lived to be one hundred he might become a good artist. There is hope for us all then! This is a copy of one of his silk paintings to learn how he got so much movement into his work.

I retired after a career as a clinical researcher. Art was and remains a relaxation activity. Mostly, I am self taught with a few individual professional tuition sessions. So, my work is mostly experiment to try to make something pleasing and to record the beautiful things around us.
