Although famous for his portraits of Viennese society ladies he also produced some outstanding landscapes. I wanted to make a painting of the garden of my former house and painted this based on Klimt's landscape style. (It was quite hard to photograph)

Stephen Gillespie
I retired after a career as a clinical researcher. Art was and remains a relaxation activity. Mostly, I am self taught with a few individual professional tuition sessions. So, my work is mostly experiment to try to make something pleasing and to record the beautiful things around us.
