Lovely work Stephen , I would crop that foreground out if I were you and let viewers concentrate on the excellent trees and water .... Hope you don't mind me saying

Many thanks Michael and Dermot for your kind comments. I painted this from a photo quite quickly at the art group, the temptation is to stick to the photo too much, I will have another look at it, thinking of your point, thanks for your suggestions Dermot.
