Many thanks once again Fiona. It is some Jackson's semi rough I bought some time ago. I think perhaps after you mentioned it. It is very rough, don't know what their full rough must be like! It does give a little sparkle which is nice.

From a photo I took yesterday, on a lovely, sunny Autumn morning. My first attempt came out very muddy and overworked. Decided to do a smaller one, concentrating on the tonal values. Initially working in Paynes Grey and then adding a little colour, I am happier with this more measured approach.
