Many thanks Maureen.

Such a good sky Stephen. Very nice watercolour!

The light on the hill is very eye catching Stephen, smashing watercolour.

Many thanks, Fiona and Dennis.

Lovely work Stephen , the oat is beautifully positioned making a great focal point ........ Thanks for the comments on my latest and it's interesting what you say about the Guinness as drinkers of Guiness especially Dubliners go on and on about Guiness like wine snobs go on about fine wines ; they always insist that Guiness brewed in Dublin is the purest and best in the world and also drink it in only certain Dublin bars which they regard with reverence and respect almost approaching the sacred ..... a load of tosh if you ask me I've only tasted it once and thought it was dreadful 😊 Incidentally I just treated myself to a set of Escoda round pointed Perla brushes by Joesph Zbukvic they are fabulous ; in a long lifetime of painting I've never used a brush like them , they hold a load of paint and always end up in a perfect point I'm thrilled with them a set of three cost me € 30 which I think is a steal

Lovely tranquil painting Stephen I love your treatment of the background.

Based this on a painting in an old David Bellamy book. I have taken a few liberties, adding the beach! boat, birds and rocks.
