And a great result Stephen - more please.

I agree, you can never have too much pen work Stephen!!

This has worked really well - a lovely scene.

Many thanks everyone for your great comments - much appreciated!

This composition fits very well into the vertical shape Stephen.

A great result, Stephen!

Lovely contrasts, great piece of work.

This is very easy on the eye Stephen, good composition and gentle subdued palette. Great.

Nailed it easily Stephen.

Many thanks Dympna, Seok, Carole and Frank for your encouragement. It's interesting that often the simplest works attract the most attention, this was drawn very quickly with the brush pen and then simple washes added, perhaps we over complicate things?

Many thanks once again Derek.

After enjoying Alan's bold use of pen work, I thought I would try this scene again, using watercolour over a quick brush pen drawing.
