Bold and brave approach, stronger shadows - a bit of cockling,but you can rectify that. Keep it going - great watercolourists on here (and on YouTube) to inspire you, in - eg - Alan Owen and Rupert Cordeux; strong colourists like Thea Cable - and many others.

Decided to try a looser version of Waddington, did a very quick drawing with a pastel pencil and then added washes with a big squirrel brush.
