It’s the same here Stephen, and I think I might do exactly what you’ve done to cheer myself up....paint! Some lovely marks in this, have you used sepia ink? Hope they do something ‘nice’ with the convent.

Many thanks Rachel and Fiona. No it is black ink but photographed indoors, which has given it a warmish tint.

Miserable, chilly, damp Bank Holiday weather! ThoughtvInwould take my mind off it and do yet another sketch of the garden. The lovely Convent building at the back has been sold. We are all waiting to see what happens. Hope they can retain the character of it. Flats perhaps? As least it took my mind off the weather!
