Good sketch of Chethams Stephen. You've caught the grandeur of the fine building. Windows..I just guess at the number as it's impossible to be accurate..there are so many!

Many thanks Dennis, Carole and Louise. I started off with enthusiasm, as Louise says it is a superb building but after about ten minutes I was getting more and more confused by the number of windows and all the architectural details, plus the attractive modern cube 'seat' was getting a mite uncomfortable. It deserves a more serious approach but I don't really have the inclination for that sort of work, although I do admire it in others.

An excellent result Stephen considering the circumstances (cube seat) you did well do get this much, I'm sure I couldn't have sat that long!lol.

I sketched this earlier today on a sunny Manchester morning (yes we occasionally get one)! It's a fine old building deserving of a more detailed work. I have just added a little watercolour. Chethams is one of the top music schools around don't by the way.
