Again, the figures are really good Stephen. I do like these interesting, honest sketches of real places...en plein air then!

Really enjoying these little scenes, Stephen! You convey a lot of charm and appeal in these everyday scenes.

You are very prolific with your sketching and I envy you that. Lovely depiction of this bridge and the people passing under it give it the necessary scale and perspective.

Many thanks Louise, Seok and Thea for your kind remarks. I found the brush pen a bit awkward to use but it stops you fiddling for sure!

Great work Stephen and I love the tones you are using

I like the addition of figures, lovely Stephen.

Many thanks Dennis and Carole.

Not easy dealing with such a dominant structure in close up but the way you've done it and the introduction of the figures work so well and pull it off - nice one S.

Many thanks Michael, I'm enjoying meeting up with these Urban Sketchers, it's interesting to see how others approach working outdoors. I don't know if there is a group near you, they seem to popping up all over.

We have a group of U Sketchers here in North Wales , been going for about eighteen months now. It' started with two of us and we are anything up to 15 on a busy sketch. Great to feed from one another . We are off to the international Eisteddfod in Llangollen in a couple of weeks time . Lovely people watching...so if you want to join us....

I am a self taught amateur painter, I mostly paint landscapes in watercolour but I 'dabble' in other mediums from time to time. I really enjoy my art, especially painting outdoors when the weather allows.
