Sketching in the park 1

As it's such a nice day I popped into the nearby park for an hour or so to do some sketching, I used a technical type pen for this one. I did intend to add some colour with some Inktense pencils but I decided to leave it as a pen sketch. Sketching from life makes you view familiar things in a more detailed way, I hadn't appreciated how fine the gates and pillars are in this case.

Good sketch, but your other one is even better. Are you going to develop that one? I also agree how much more you notice while sketching. New avenues for painting open up.
