Hi Stephen, I think it's always more difficult to draw this type of subject and still capture detail. Just love the subject though, especially the way you have captured the intensity of the full on sun shine. I have done one painting and am at present doing another with this type of background but not so central. Back to your work, what I realy like is the way you have filtered out the rock as it leads up into the central light. Nice one.

I agree with Peter, even though the image is in black and white you have depicted the sun on the water to perfection. I think you've done a very good job of the waves too.
