Slightly more muted than your second one - equally lovely, but I feel my heart lies with the stronger tones of your second attempt with this subject.

Thanks once again Thea, I spent a little longer on this first sketch and the scene was a title brighter than the second, perhaps that's why the tones are stronger in the second one. I think that's why painting is more interesting on site.

The art group had a little jaunt put on Tuesday to Tandle Hill Country Park for a little sketching trip. This was my first effort 8x5".
