Re-post away S - the figures make the picture. I have just left a comment about birds in Christopher Morley's latest posting saying I don't really like them - whenever I put them in they seem to look a bit twee but, as in Chris's posting they are not too dominant and work well here.

this is a beautiful oil painting :-) i hate oil paint, but you and a few others on here really do them justice :-) i like the warm tones and the figure walking a dog, it makes the painting even more perfect than before :-)

It has made the painting Stephen what a great idea and it has paid off. In fact, it looks a completely different painting all together.
