I just looked at the original picture you did and yes this brighter foreground has improved it. There is more of a sunlit feel to it now. The composition is very pleasing too.

It gives the feeling of a bright and breezy autumn day Stephen, with the weak sunshine and the shrubs hanging of to the last of the colour.

One of the best things with POL I think, is the feedback/ interaction we have. Michael suggested I added some lighter colour to the foreground, I added some yellow pastel to the bushes and grass and I think it has improved things, thanks to Michael!
