Very many thanks for your kindly comments, Barry, Thalia and Barrie. I am enjoying playing around with a different medium, acrylics seem to be much easier to modify than watercolour.

Haven't seen your previous post Stephen, but water looks very good. You seem to have more colour in your acrylic work than with watercolour.

It has a richness and depth to it Stephen, lovely painting.

Many thanks Frank and Fiona. I think the acrylic paint is stronger than watercolour Frank, the main advantage seems to be that you can overpaint without pulling up the previous layer, unlike watercolour, producing the dreaded mud!
