Super colour harmony Linda. I feel that woman artist often bring out the finer things in life. I cannot understand the prejudice against women artist, and there are some great examples at that. Love L .Knight, M. Casset and many more.

Thank you Carol, John, Heather and Carole. We are just seeing how misogyny still prevails in all walks of life including politics. I think Joshua Reynolds used to get his sisters to help him with his paintings. I too like Laura Knight and Marie Cassat. I also came across another female artist, Louise Jobling, the other day in Lady Lever’s gallery in Liverpool.

Part of 3 children, with a dog. Possibly William Shakespeare’s children. Another brilliant female artist, who has almost been written out of history. Coloured pencils on A4 Bristol smooth. Wish I had done the background in watercolour though.
