Movement and colours are terrific

No it doesn't look like muddy water - in fact I like this one rather better than your other wave painting, although both are good. I find painting the sea extremely difficult - people say trees must be hard work (and they are..) but I have nothing like the trouble with trees as I have with the sea, so I envy this.

You are really good at these waves Sophie.

Thank you Brian and Ibolya for your lovely comments. Robert, I completely agree with you, trees are a lot less of a struggle for me than the sea. I find water so challenging but am enjoying painting these waves, some definitely work better than others and they are often the ones where the paint has been in total control! Thank you for your comments.

Trying to capture the strong setting sun streaming through the water as the wave breaks...hopefully it doesnt just look like muddy water! This is 'Perranuthnoe Wave' at my local beach.
