You have met your objective with this one Sophie. I also paint in wc and I know how 50% of the time they work and the other 50 not so. This one WORKS! To create a large dramatic one, it is one of the most immediate things we paint! The constant quick brush strokes and the "timing". A real beauty. Nice harmony in limited palette too.

I struggle to paint sky in watercolour so I usually avoid it. I think it's because it is so exposed and you can't hide behind a bit of texture or a shadow here and there
