A place the wee folk would love to call home Sophie, the luminosity and sense of depth gives it a real other worldly feeling, love the scratched seed heads in the foreground really effective, another really smashing piece of work.

An acrylic ink on canvas. I wanted to draw on childhood memories of playing in woods imagining a world full of fairies, elves and sprites. There is a lot of detail in this painting primarily from scratching into the ink and drawing with my knife blade
