Really like the colours you have used, picking out the green and the colours in the macaws beak for the flowers has worked really well together.

Maureen - Thank you. The Neighborhood I lived in was part of the original Holly Wood Land development. All the houses had this wonderful Calif. Stucco look, most with vines all over - a lot of Bougainvillea . Carved, stenciled beams,Stone Fireplaces, Solariums, etc.

In the 70's thru 90's, I lived in the Hollywood hills (Calif.) Working with clients and decorators. I made a lot of money doing these lare paintings we called California Pastels.Revisiting that theme and style was fun.BTW, there have been Macaws in The hills since someone started releasing them in the 70's.
