And yes, I did eat the figs, Christine :-) By the way, was it you who mentioned the stained glass artist of the little window in Shoreham Church?? I went to look at it today, and it is lovely.

No, it wasn't me Shirley but I am intrigued and will have to go and see it for myself now!

Thank you, Kim. Matisse is a special favourite painter of mine I love his work. Thank you very much for the kind comparison. Another favourite painter of mine is John Yardley, whose impressionistic water colours and gouaches I think are outstanding.
