During the late 70's early 80's Deltics were often diagrammed to trans-Peninne routes. This watercolour shows 55007 'Pinza' departing Liverpool Lime Street, Newcastle bound. Leaving at the same time is the late afternoon Liverpool-London Euston service headed by an English Electric class 86.
