You've caught the light - and the sense of place, and space: this really is a plein air study, isn't it?

Thank you for your comments. It certainly was plein air....the tide was moving so fast this morning I could only just paint fast enough. There is a causeway that links to the Island from the beach at low tide - you can see the beginning of it forming. By the time I finished the fishermen were walking across.
