Tour de France

Full of action - totally captured the excitement, speed & atmosphere - have seen "Le Tour" on a number of occasions - I've got a pic on here "Waiting for the Tour de France" -you might like to look at it - no bikes - just a few locals in a small town waiting for the tour to flash through!

Thank you Trevor. I have seen it once in France, but this was from the race coming through SE London last year. I have looked at your paintings. Waiting for the Tour de France, in my opinion ,has real character and reflects many events we have seen in France.I too travel to France a lot and believe your portraits working lunch and Old man of the sea are memorable pieces of work. I have also had the difficulty of using Acrylics that dry quickly but the bright colours help as a base to Pastels,
