This is lovely Shane, you have really captured the delicacy of the little goldfinches, and the beech leaves are painted very convincingly.

Thanks for your kind comments......For detail work i use ProArte Prolene Plus 007 sizes 3/0 & 4/0. I find ProArte quite robust keep there shape well with some TLC. I also loosen the paint a little with a 50/50 mixture of white spirit & Liquin. For bigger marks i use Winsor & Newton Monarch brushes as i like their smoothness.
