Oil on panel. Size - 12in x 16in. Collaroy is part of the Sydney Northern Beaches region, and frequented by a large number of Pelicans. I think the local fishermen find them a bit of a nuisance at times but I thought they were absolutely fascinating to watch. You can get up very close to them, which is great for sketching and photography.
