Beautiful oil painting Seok

Yes, the dome does strike the eye; I have a feeling this might have been a bit of a devil to paint - all those different levels and architectural details. Well done for bringing it off so well.

Thanks so very much, Glennis, Robert, Fred and Thea! Robert, you're spot on about the architecture - I was almost intimidated into giving up, but it was also a good lesson in simplification. The building was built by the British architect, AC Norman, who spent time in Africa and India, hence his incorporation of Mughal architecture into an essentially British colonial building.
