I had one of these, plus several others - I used them in the office I used to run, just before the arrival of wordprocessors: they were beautifully engineered; Underwood was one of the best, closely followed by Olympia (from Germany). My oldest one dated from 1905, and I was still using it in the '80s; dread to think how many computers and printers I've been through since. Your work is a reminder of an, on the whole, more interesting age, when things were built to last.

Robert, that’s for sure! I still have this one.

Thanks Spencer!

Remember it well, Like this a lot Cory

Love your unusual subject matter. Days of Tipex and frustration. The electric ones were so luxurious. Lovely detail Cory.

Thanks for your comments, Heather and Carole!
