It was worth the hike Sarah.

How lovely, glad you found the spot. Looks a very energetic climb!

That is one of the best watercolours I have seen of the Lake District! Superb!!!!

This is so nicely painted Sarah.

Lovely, worth the walk!

Wow, a fabulous painting in the lakes again love the area👏👏

Thank you Denise, Carole, David, Carrie, Heather and Keith. It was a lovely walk and certainly worth the slightly soggy feet at the end of it!

A superb piece, Sarah. Love how your loose and free style works so wonderfully here, capturing the ruggedness of the scene.

Well done on both your walk and this super watercolour Sarah. Love the marks to create movement and textures in the rocks and grasses.

Thank you very much Seok and Fiona!

Watercolour from photo and sketches from a walk in the Eskdale Valley. We were trying to find the spot of a William Heaton Cooper print that was in our holiday cottage. Three hours walk up the valley and we found it!
