Derwentwater dusk

Catbells dusk

I agree , like this a lot.

Your lovely painting has just reminded me of our long weekend we've just had at the crow park hotel overlooking this scene brilliant👍

Lovely Sarah, any obstacles well and truly overcome

Thank you very much Romila, Keith and Heather for your comments. What a lovely place to stay Keith - I often wonder what the hotels on that row are like. Bet the views are wonderful!

The grainy effect has added to the atmosphere Sarah. A super watercolour full of mood.

This is so atmospheric I love it.

Nice reflections there, Sarah.

Thank you so much Carole, Marjorie and Fiona - I really value your comments.

Very nice work Sarah, you did well to get that texture on hot pressed paper.

Thank you so much Stephen- appreciate that and glad you like it.

Watercolour of a misty evening looking over Derwentwater at Catbells fell. It's on hot pressed paper - I like smooth surfaces for watercolours but it sometimes looks a bit grainy. As it's a dusk view, maybe the graininess helped!
