Hi Satu - just seen your two boats and for sure the lower wall is better. How nice to be able to change a very obvious line - not so easy in watercolour but probably possible. A great composition with that dark blue sea complementing the other colours. Lovely.

I'd somehow missed the previous painting but have compared the two and agree that this version is the better of the two. Your boat is excellent and would fit the seaside collaboration challenge perfectly!

I hadn't noticed the wall being too high, but no matter - it is a lovely painting and all the textures add to the interest.

Great composition Satu…the curve of the boat cuts through your very straight horizontal lines very effectively!
