I'm the same Satu, I either paint every day or grind to a halt. I know that fear or excitement feeling well! Super portrait, love that bright red spot against the warm background colour.

A striking portrait - I want to know what the girl is thinking about. You are brave just getting out there and painting and experimenting like this. It certainly is paying off if you produce lovely work like this.

A little less fierce looking portrait today. I must paint every day now to find the joy and the feeling of freedom again. I'm still quite scared of the canvas and how to put anything really on it. But I'm sure it will come back sooner or later. This girl is not from a photo so imaginary again.
