Missing handle

Missing handle

Each time a painting catches my eye on the front page and I think 'Oo I like that ' it turns out to be one of yours !

Couldn't miss this ! I love patchwork compositions and the colours here are great. You've done it again. (Hope this doesn't get pushed off by one of the many multiple-posters!)

I've been away for a couple of weeks and only had intermittent Internet access, coincidentally and to keep my arty hand active I've been experimenting with Aboriginal art on my iPad using the Brushes app. I love your painting Satu, the colours, composition and concept. As others have said it stands out on the page! I will post my latest 'dot' painting when it is finished.

Striking colours and I like your pointillism idea.

Helen, Sian, Avril, Christine and Carole. Thank you very much for your kind comments, much appreciated!

Who broke the handle, great Satu, technique is a bit Aboriginal.

Fabulous. I love the technique in this.

Stunning work, Satu! Love the use of dots, the super shapes and the gorgeous palette!

Lovely! I like how you can change your style and that you are not scared about trying something new :)

Thank you so much Karyl, Dawn, Seok and Sarah for your encouraging comments! Karyl, must have been one your doggies!

Spot the missing dot - do like the finished effect although I don't have the patience to try anything like this Satu.

As usual I love it. Your work just has that 'edge' if that makes sense at all.

I haven't been on the site for a few days so I'm playing catch up. I'm so glad I found this one of yours, I love it, makes me think of a patchwork quilt.

Thank you very much Michael, Gudrun and Val for your kind words!

Dots, dots and more dots for this one! It took me many hours but it was very satisfying to build up the image with tiny marks and in a way it's easier than traditional painting because you cannot really make mistakes with simple dots.
