Tundra

If you asked me, I couldn't quite say why! But I like it..... just as an arrangement of colour, or a mingling of shapes, or an idea, or a feeling...

Something a bit figurative about this one! but can't say what? Having never seen Tundra I expect it to be all grey and white, but I suppose it must at times have earthy colours as well. Your usual 'lost and found lines' give the whole thing some structure and hint at trees and scrubs which is beatifully balanced with those large tonal shapes. Well done.

Now this is more like you Satu. Having just viewed your landscape which I thought was very good, this has its own unique appeal, very you.

Merci Colleen! Je n'ai pas de formation officielle, mais j'ai commence a peindre a Paris dans l'Ecole d'art Martenot . J'y suis restee pendant deux ans une fois par semaine donc pas beaucoup. Apres avoir demenage en Angleterre j'ai joint une groupe d'amateurs peintres mais la plus par de temps je travaille a la maison. J'ai longtemps cherche mon style et les couleurs qui me plaisent et je crois de les avoir trouve. Mais j'aime aussi essayer de nouvelles choses. Merci encore de votre interet. Satu
