When I saw this one, I thought it looks a bit like a Paul talbot - Greaves! How strange but it shows you have listened to his advice! Apart from that, its a nice watercolour, with nice clean washes, with a good sense of light.

A lovely watercolour of a snow scene Olga, you've done a great job!

You've clearly benefited from his advice - brave to use that strong blue for snow shadow, especially the patch on the far right; I can see myself dabbing away nervously at that, afraid to commit myself! Works well - will you be able to continue attending P T-G's workshops, I wonder, or was this a one-off?

This looks very familiar Olga, it will be here soon! Great little painting.

Thank you all very much for your feedback and taking time to comment. I am afraid the workshop with Paul was one-off this year. I think he is Yorkshire based. Hopefully next year York Art Society is going to make a booking with him again. Another thing which I took away with me is the boldness of using opaque paints alongside transparent because I was always "cautious" with them.

Did this in workshop with Paul Talbot-Greaves. Format A3. Two-Rivers paper. White Nights paints. Paul was teaching on how to get the tonal values right and how to get the Darks right.
