Thank you all for your kind comments. It was a labour of love painting this as I love the Japanese garden at Tatton. It is said to be the most authentic Japanese garden in Europe. Tatton is lovely and well worth a visit, they offer tours of the Japanese garden on certain days as it is over 100 years old and quite delicate, but can be viewed from the perimeter fence. Thanks again.

The Japanese Garden is one of my favourite places to visit. This painting shows the goose wing bridge, so designed to save the visitor from the clutches of the devil as he can only go in a straight line!
