recognised your superb capturing of mountain views soon as I saw it Sandra, your use of colours in these is really excellent

I have an aunt who would love this - some of her happiest holidays were spent near Glencoe: she's 90 now, and her days of climbing hills (she never did tackle the mountains themselves) are over. The texture of the peak is very well done.

Just love the mountain, beautiful picture.

Thanks for the comments, I love painting craggy hills with oils can really get the depth and feeling with this medium.

A further attempt at the Buachaille painting, hopefully I have taken Ros's comments from the last one and added more definition to the water. Painted in Alkyd quick drying oils, 18in; x 12in; on canvas.
